Landmark Travel Tours – Frank Lloyd Wright Buffalo and More!

Landmark Travels has previous offered Buffalo day trips to enjoy the Frank Lloyd Wright designed homes, but we have never done a multi-day trip to experience the historic architecture, amazing transformation of the waterfront, museums, parks, great restaurants, and more. We felt it was time to give our guests the full experience, and we have been working with our colleagues in Buffalo to do just that!

We will stay at the Richardson Hotel Buffalo, a National Historic Landmark set on more than 40 acres of historic green space and park campus designed by Frederick Law Olmsted. We will take full advantage of its proximity to the Buffalo AKG Art Museum and the city’s vibrant cultural corridor for fine (and fun) dining opportunities.  Our Frank Lloyd Wright time will be enhanced by specialty tours and a wine and cheese reception at the Gardener’s House on the Darwin Martin House campus. Combined with architectural tours that will include Buffalo’s iconic City Hall and more, this tour will not be short on architectural eye-candy.  Speaking of candy, we can’t go to Buffalo without a stop at the 100+ year old historic ice cream parlor, Parkside Candy.

We are working feverishly to finalize this itinerary and pricing – pricing and full itinerary soon!
