Public Hearing – Landmark designation of 13 Cataract St.

On Wednesday, April 4 a joint hearing of the City of Rochester Preservation Board and Planning Commission will consider the application for landmark designation of 13 Cataract Street. The hearing will begin at 8 PM at City Hall, 30 Church St.
Those arriving prior to 8 PM are asked to gather in the atrium.
Because the landmark application was not filed by the owners of the property, approval of designation requires a 3/4 majority from both the Preservation Board and the Planning Commission. The applicant will present testimony first, followed by the property owner. Members of the public in support of the application will then be allowed to present testimony, followed by those in opposition to the application.
