Fall 2016 Partners Roundup

November 29, 2016 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

Get the Word Out: How to use social media & traditional media to tell your story

The 2016 Fall Partners Roundup will take place Tuesday, November 29th at The Landmark Society’s offices. The Partners Roundup is an opportunity for community advocates and preservation partners from around the region to gather and share their communities’ or organizations’ challenges and successes. The formal portion of the program will feature a panel discussion with professionals working in social media, news radio, and historic sites. They will provide insight into what strategies work (and what strategies don’t) when trying to tell your historic site’s or community’s story. How do you attract new visitors? How do you get your story out there? How can you package your site, community, or project to appeal to a wide and diverse audience? We’ll discuss these questions and more!

The Roundup is free and open to anyone involved in preservation or community revitalization at any level. If you operate a historic site or run a community-based organization trying to promote your neighborhood, village, or town, you don’t want to miss this opportunity!
