Preservation Conference Registration Now Open! |

Registration for the NY Statewide Preservation Conference is now live! For the first time, we are headed downstate to Poughkeepsie, where we are partnering with the Greater Hudson Heritage Network to include museum and conservation topics. The conference will be held May 6-8 at the DoubleTree Poughkeepsie, where a room block is available to book through April 4th. This year’s conference includes walking tours, sessions, site visits, a Meet and Greet event, luncheon, and the annual State Historic Preservation Awards. We can’t wait to see you there! |

Every spring, hundreds of school children learn what it takes to build a community when they visit the Stone–Tolan historic site. Our amazing group of docents guide them in this discovery tour – and they want you to join them! You should enjoy working with elementary students, have an interest in history, and be available for weekday hours during the school season. We teach you the rest! We are excited to announce the Rochester Historical Society’s first event in their Spring Lecture Series this coming Monday, as well as our new partnership with RHS as they return to regular programming with a new Board of Trustees. This event marks RHS’s first event since before the pandemic, and we are looking forward to all that they have in store for 2025! |
