To honor this historic occasion, Rochester and Monroe County are joining communities across the country in celebrating America’s semiquincentennial through a series of events, educational initiatives, cultural programs, and community experiences. The America 250 Celebration at ESL Ballpark serves as the region’s signature public gathering, bringing together residents, visitors, businesses, nonprofits, educators, artists, and community leaders for an evening that reflects both our shared history and our collective future. Centered around the theme The Evolution of the Revolution, the event highlights the ideals that have shaped America while recognizing the people, movements, innovations, and communities that continue to move the nation forward.
