Last summer, The Preservation League of New York State awarded the Village of Avon a coveted Preserve New York grant to fund a historic resource survey, meant to help the Village identify opportunities with respect to its unique concentration of historic buildings. The Village hired The Landmark Society to perform this work. With their survey now complete, Landmark Society staff members Caitlin Meives and Tyler Lucero led a discussion on September 19th to help the community understand the work they have done, to share their findings, and to explain possible next steps for the community.
